TheOnionHost Money-back Guarantee, Cancellations, and Refund Policy
At TheOnionHost, we strive to offer transparent billing and refund terms to protect both our clients and our business. By purchasing our services, you agree to the following terms:
Shared Hosting
-
TheOnionHost offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on all shared hosting packages only if payment was made via debit/credit card or PayPal.
-
Payments made via cryptocurrency are strictly non-refundable to external wallets. However, upon written request within the first 7 days, the amount may be credited to your TheOnionHost account as credit, which can be used for future purchases.
-
Added funds (manual or automatic top-ups) are non-refundable and can only be used for future purchases within TheOnionHost.
-
The 7-day guarantee applies only to new orders and does not apply to renewals or upgrades.
VPS Hosting
-
TheOnionHost offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on all VPS hosting packages only if payment was made via debit/credit card or PayPal.
-
Payments made via cryptocurrency are strictly non-refundable to external wallets, but may be credited to your account balance within the first 7 days upon request.
-
Any refunds exclude any third-party licensing fees, such as cPanel, Softaculous, LiteSpeed, or other licensed software, if purchased alongside the VPS.
-
Prepaid or discounted VPS hosting packages are also non-refundable after the 7-day window, regardless of the payment method.
Dedicated Servers
-
Due to the nature of the service, TheOnionHost does not offer refunds or credits on dedicated servers under any circumstances, including dissatisfaction, change of mind, early cancellation, or compliance-related issues.
-
This includes prepaid invoices, discounted long-term payments, advance payments, or promotional deals.
-
All dedicated server services are strictly non-refundable and non-creditable once provisioned, regardless of usage duration or early termination by the client.
-
Clients are responsible for accepting and understanding this policy when ordering dedicated servers, especially under prepaid, discounted, or multi-month payment plans.
Domains
-
All domain registrations, transfers, or renewals are strictly non-refundable, in line with ICANN policies and registrar agreements.
-
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure accuracy before placing any domain-related order.
Cryptocurrency Payments (All Services)
-
Due to the inherent nature of cryptocurrency transactions, all payments made via cryptocurrency are final, irreversible, and non-refundable to external wallets under any circumstances, once applied to an invoice.
-
In eligible cases (within 7 days for shared and VPS hosting only), refunds may be provided as TheOnionHost account credit, strictly to the client’s account.
-
Refunds to cryptocurrency wallets are never processed, as per our policy and to mitigate risks of fraud, volatility, and transaction reversals.
General Billing and Prepayment Terms
-
All advance payments, prepaid funds, or long-term payments for any service type (shared, VPS, dedicated) are subject to the same non-refundable clauses as defined for each service above.
-
Prepaid or discounted payments for dedicated servers are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances once the service is provisioned.
-
In the event TheOnionHost terminates the service due to breach of Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) or Terms of Service (TOS), no refunds will be granted for the unused term.
Revisions to This Policy
TheOnionHost reserves the right to revise, amend, or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
Any such changes will be posted publicly and will immediately become part of our Terms of Service (TOS). It is the client’s responsibility to review our policies periodically.
